app on iPhone won't open after installing iOS 16.3.1

When I click on the app it pulls up the black screen with the Spotify logo in the middle and nothing happens. I've tried deleting/reinstalling the app and turning off/rebooting my phone

Thanks for reaching out. Does the issue occur with both mobile data and Wi-Fi? Please test that and see if it makes a difference. If you haven't already, please perform a clean reinstall, that can help with a lot of issues. If the behaviour persists after that, please send us some screenshots and the Spotify version you're using so we can take a look.
