I’m having some Spotify-only Bluetooth audio connectivity issues with iOS 11 public beta 1 (build 15A5304i) on an iPhone 7 Plus. Audio isn’t being routed to my headphones automatically and requires a reboot of the app, the phone’s Bluetooth signal, and the headphones (plus repairing) every time I start up the headphones or swap to another app that has in-app audio output.
Anyone have any idea what's happening?

Hey folks!
Thanks for letting me know about this! Apple and Spotify both recentely released an update. Could you make sure you're on the latest versions available? Let me know how you get on! 🙂
Have a lovely day!
Hey @abweins! Welcome to the Spotify Community!
Thanks for your report! iOS 11 is still in beta, and things can still change. That's why Spotify doesn't support beta versions at this moment. I'll pass your report on to the relevant folks. I recommend you to use the latest stable version available to get the smoothest Spotify experience possible.
Thanks, take care! 🙂
This issue is still happening to me even though ios11 is in production now. This is a very annoying issue.
i take a phone call over Bluetooth, Spotify fades out. After phone call, the app won’t play music again until I restart the app.
i am having the same issue. Once i lock my screen, i cant control my music on the lock screen any more. If i use my beats and pause my music, it goes straight to apple music then i have to then manually unlock my phone and go back to the app for it to play again. Very annoying specially when driving.

I am still having issues with Spotify in the control centre on the new iOS 11 update and my Spotify is still up to date. I can’t play music on a Bluetooth device without no way of me changing the song in the control centre or my lock screen. Please help!!!
Thank you 🙂
Same here. Spotify is running on my car audio, through the iphone X with IOS 11 beta 2 and when I have been called, there is no sound of Spotify anymore. Restart of Spotify is the only solution so far. I have the same with my bluetooth speaker in my house.
I’m using stable and latest iOS 11 and Spotify app and I have the same problem. Every time other app plays a sound while Spotify is playing it stops and never comes back, I always have to restart the app. It happens no matter where it is playing, Bluetooth, CarPlay, wired headphones and even in the iPhone itself. You have to fix this annoying ant absurd bug!!!
