Everytime I update the app, it deletes my downloaded tracks

Does anyone know if there is a way of preventing this? I forgot about it happening the last time, clicked 'update all' in the app store this morning and all offline tracks were once again deleted. Can I provent this as having to download 5000+ tracks...
