My Question or Issue
when I am playing a playlist the queue suddenly keeps starting from the beginning. I don’t have shuffle on and I am on Wi-Fi and casting to my tv using a chromecast.
Delved deeper into what the problem could be, it seems to be the same playlist causing the problems. If i change devices to the playstation after the song i want starts to play, the queue after it stays the same, but if i then change songs, the queue changes and goes to the start of the playlist. If i change devices back to my phone, the queue will once again change back to what it was before the ps5 became the device. I’ve tried to show what i mean in the images below
Same is happening to me. I reinstalled and that did nothing.

This is still a problem on my ipad. I did a complete reinstall as per instructions and it is still not working. Version 8.7.94.551
same problem here for a few weeks now. Disappeared for a few days, now started again. Unbelievably frustrating. Get your stuff together Spotify!
Same thing is happening to me...for the first time in 10 years. It happens on my desktop and when I connect via Bluetooth in my cars (2 different cars). Sad this has been a recurring issue since at least 2017 based on posts herein.

Having the same problem here. I listen to Spotify almost constantly through the day and have for years. The problem wasn't terrible at first. I figured the playlist just had not updated yet. Now it is every single Spotify generated playlist. I haven't tried any of the playlists I have made yet to find out. It is so frustrating, though. I really hope they fix this issue!!!

Everytime I use any of my playlists and I let whichever song play until it ends and, instead of going to the next song, it starts the playlist at the beginning. I've noticed that when I go to the queue after I pick a song in the playlist, it just lists the playlist in the order that it's normally in, rather than the order that would follow the selected song. I realized that I can change that queue to match the order that would follow the selected song, but doing that only works for one song before it goes to the beginning again. It's also worth mentioning that the first song will go on to the second one but the second, as well as every song but the first, just goes to the first one again.
We have the same problem since weeks... Its totaly annoying espacially when you try to listen to a story...

We use Sonos and its very annoying to have the playlist starting again and again from the beginning.
The strange thing is. When i select a song in the list and pish next it works.
It seans to be a problem with the EndOf the Song event.
I had to pull out my old Ipod today so I could listen to a playlist at the gym. This is crazy. I have been searching and this has been an ongoing problem for a long time at spotify. I think that whoever the right people are need to get on this asap.
I have reinstalled on all devices, logged out everywhere, cleared cache and I still can’t listen through a playlist without it going back to the first song every 3 or 4 songs. None of the tips have been helpful. Bout to hit up Apple Music

This same issue is happening to me for over a week. Playlists, daily mixes, radio, etc.
Same issue here, listening on an iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16.2, Spotify version 8.7.94.551. It happens when playing songs in all types of playlists, only when connected to a speaker (both Heos and Sonos).

- Happens when I'm listening on bluetooth, Chromecast and with headphones (bluetooth and wired)
- It only happens on some playlists. I don't think there is a system to this because it happens on some of my own and some of other people's playlists.
I am also having this issue and it’s very frustrating.
You could add a suitable support form in the app and grap this information autonaticaly. It wasnt easy to find this community and add my reply in the first place.

Problem happens on our Sonos speaker but with only the phone too
It doenst always happen. But 70% of the time. Cant find the reason that starts the problem.
Is this a joke? You still can't ensure the most basic feature: PLAY MUSIC IN A CERTAIN ORDER? I've been a premium user for years and now considering my options, honestly at this point Winamp does better job.
