The main edge Spotify has on Apple Music now appears to have been removed - the “Discover” section no longer lists “similar to” artist + albums…
As a Spotify user for 10 years, this has me reconsidering my alliance.
Please fix this by adding back (and continuing to improve rather than remove) the discover section’s exiting and endless content for truly discovering new music.
Release radar and discover weekly are okay, but nothing compared to the old discover tab for finding new music similar to what I enjoy listening to.
Having dedicated so much time to listening to and finding new music through Spotify’s algorithms, I hope to continue using this wealth of knowledge in my appreciation of music, rather than having to regenerate it in Apple Music…
Hey @BryndonLight,
Thanks for reaching out in the Community!
You can find the Discover section when you click on Search and scroll down. This should be true for all devices.
Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.

hi,
yes, the section is there inside search, but at least in my experience it has been severely trimmed down.
i used to find a dozen, maybe even 20 carrousels of ‘because you listened to x’ and ‘more like y’.
now there are literarily 3 rows of those.
to me this has also always been the best feature and the major point to using spotify vs apple music.
please bring it back!
