[iOS] Scan Codes not showing up

I’ve been wanting to use the scan song feature for a project I’m working on although recently the scan feature hasn’t been showing up underneath every song. I still have the scan feature next to the search box but I have nothing to scan. 
I also tried on my windows laptop; it still has the bottom for bringing up a song’s scan code but the area were it should be just goes black and cannot be scanned.

Has there been some update that removes this feature or is there something wrong my account?
If anyone knows or has any suggestions on how to fix it please let me know.
