My Question or Issue

Hi -

I am using Spotify in my vehicle via the Jaguar InControl App and my iPhone 6S.  On the in-car interface, the touch areas and function icons are not accurately aligned.  In order to search for example, I must tap above the search icon - tapping directly on the icon doesn't work.   This problem persists across Spotify on the in-car interface (e.g. Pause/Play buttons and others) but not all - the keyboard for example does work properly.

 

See the attached image for an example.

 

When using an Android phone, the Spotify in-car app works perfectly - the touch points are accurately mapped to the icons.   The problem only affects some functions when connected to the car using the iOS Spotify App.    The apps and Phone OS are all up-to-date.

 

Please address this bug for iOS so I can enjoy Spotify in my car!

I have exactly same issue with my iPhone X and RR Evoque 17MY. Both incontrol apps & Spotify are updated

Somehow this issue was resolved in my car. I don’t recall a Spotify app
update on my phone and the car never went into service for updates to the
infotainment system. One day I noticed the alignment of the icons was
slightly different and it started working well.
