iOS search function is not bringing back any results

My first post didn't do any results, so I decided to post a new one, according to this forum template, hoping that this time, a fellow member of spotify corp will give us a solution, since apparently I'm not the only one.

Description
iOS search function is not bringing back any results at all. Cannot search period.

Device + App Versions Being Used:
I'm on iPad 8.0.2 (12A405). Spotify Version build: 1.8.0.2444, but this has been happening for a few weeks.

A more detailed description, using numbered steps
1. Open Spotify
2. Go to search
3. Search anything (ie. "a", or "bowie", or "david bowie", or "2 live crew"
4. Search displays text: "No results found for "david bowie". Please make sure your words are spelled correctly, or use less or different keywords".
5. Tried closing app, re-opening, and trying steps 1 - 3. Same results as in step 4.
6. Tried deleting app, downloading again, and trying steps 1 - 3. Same results as in step 4.
7. Tried deleting offline devices in Spotify profile, delete the app, reinstall the app. and trying steps 1 - 3. Same results as in step 4.

What I expected to happen
Bring back search results that i was searching for.

What actually happened
No search results. No results found for "david bowie". Please make sure your words are spelled correctly, or use less or different keywords".

I have a Iphone 4s. I usally use my Mac at home to make playliste, but today I want to search for music on the phone, but every time it comes up and telle med no result !?! No matter what I type it tells me the same - No result ! ?

Hello. Spotify gets stuck several times during the day in "No offline results for..." But, I am not offline, I'm either on wifi or 3G/4G. It's mainly a problem on the phone (iphone 5). I have to switch off entirely to solve the problem. That process takes several minutes so this is really annoying. I also tried to delete and reinstall, but the problem keeps occuring. Any solutions?
