My Question or Issue

Attached are some images of some of the display issues I’ve been experiencing since upgrading my iPhone from an XS max. It’s not the worst thing on the planet just felt you all should be made aware in hope of fixing it.

App Version: 8.6.68.1328

I've tried deleting and redownloading the app and restarting my phone. nothing has worked

Having an issue figuring out how to record, but maybe I can try to explain it. So the first photo shows the issues where there are a lot of overlapping words that sit on top of others.

The second photo really doesn't show the issue but basically when I am in a playlist and scrolling through it, you know how the name of the playlist (or CD, etc.) moves to the top? Well the title is almost completely cut off (but not entirely) due to the notch.

Like I said its nothing that makes the app unusable, but I just wanted to make you guys aware in case you weren't already.

I’ve noticed the same display issues on the iPhone 13 Pro.

Hey folks!

Thanks for your replies 🙂

First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

@Decorum, thanks for all the info you've sent so far. Just to make sure, is this only happening with Spotify or with other streaming apps as well? On another note, would you mind asking a friend or a relative to log in to their account in your phone to see if the issue persists with a different account?

@iansoccer9, could you send us the exact Spotify version of your phone? Additionally, sending us a screen recording would come in handy. You can send a link to it or attach it using the Insert Video option in the post editor.

We'll keep an eye out for your replies.

@eni

 thanks for the quick post.

With the most recent update that came out this past week I am no longer experiencing the issue. I can't speak to anyone else, but as far as my concern I think it is solved at this point.

Hi @Decorum,

Thanks for keeping us in the loop here!

We're happy to hear, that after updating the app, the issue is no longer present for you 🙂 Keeping your Spotify apps and your devices' firmware up-to-date is always the best thing to do. On this way you won't skip any fixes that are being released.

I as well am having this issue and it got fixed with the most recent update and lasted a couple hours before it went back to having display fitment issues again. I have tried everything from reinstalling to restarting the phone and still no fix to it.

Hey @Peterquinones1,

Thanks for the reply.

You can try running a clean reinstall of the app, following this Guide exactly, as this is a more throughout reinstallation and will clear any left over data, which could be causing these issues.
