push notifications?

My Question or Issue

 I’ve been wondering if push notifications are broken in general or it’s just my phone’s issue. I mean there is like a full page of settings for that i as i’ve been using spotify for ages and i don’t believe i’ve ever seen it work, which is unfortunate bc i believe it would be cool to get notif that artists added a new album/single/whatever. and if it’s not meant to work ever would you consider deleting it altogether to not make unnecessary confusion?

This feature has been removed from Spotify for some time now.

You can check this post here and maybe start a new idea about having them back.
