spotify premium but unable to stream on my iphone

I signed up for premium today, but when I try to stream on my iphone it says that only premium users are allowed and forces me to listen to a radio station. So frustrating! Seems like a common problem, what do I do?

This should be working for you now - Just log out and back in again.

There is an ongoing issue with the upgrade process as discussed in this topic.

The staff are aware of it so hopefully a fix will come soon!

It started to work 17 hrs after I upgraded. I Di log out and in several times.

They gave me a code to extend my period.

 

I used a free premium trial on my iPhone and streamed music with no problem. Now that I have the premium paid version it tells me that only premium users can stream music and starts to play similar music on the radio. It works fine on my iPad. I have read in the forum this is a common problem and it was fixed. Please help I am ready to cancel.

Hi Bodrums - So I can confirm your account has been properly upgraded. 

 

Have you tried a clean reinstallation on your iPhone? Once that's complete be sure to sign in with your 'bodrums' username. 

I have not done that but I have installed it on my other iPhone and have the same issue?

As you made that upgrade yesterday you should have it all on devices now. Do you always sign in with your 'bodrums' username? 

 

Please give that a try and let me know how it goes. 

I just upgraded to premium earlier today and I am still unable to stream from my iphone 5. When is it going to start working?
