Sorry to see this has been happening to you!
Could you send us a link to a short video recording of the described behaviour so that we can get a closer look into this?
In the meantime, we'd also like to suggest a complete clean reinstall of the app as described here.
It will also remove any stored cache files, in case the error stems from them 🙂
We'll be on the lookout for your response.

In this case, we'd like to confirm, are you still noticing this behavior or is it fixed now? If you continue to have inconveniences, would you mind sending the exact Spotify version you are running?
We'd also suggest to log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This could sound a little bit odd, but this way the system will force a resync of your account in general.
