So I was here listening to my playlists when all of a sudden my account was logged out from the player and I couldn't log in anymore.
When I got to the website and tried to login with Facebook, I couldn't login with it and it was saying my account was already registered with my email. Okay. Logged in with my Spotify details and then, blam: Account deactivated.
Seriously? I was Premium, was listening to my music without doing nothing wrong and then all of sudden this? I simply can't go to another country and watch the World Cup without being banned? If the country was the problem, I could change it to Brazil but nope, got banned. That got me startled.
Anyway, the Spotify detail of my account: 1124295692
I registered a new account but I would want my old account back, since it has all my months of premium left and is linked with my Facebook. Thank you in advance.

Ive just had exactly the same problem. Under my recepits i have no mention of the 12 months sub i bought even though i have the receipt email?
THis is beginning to do my nut it.Can someone look into it ? CAse ref is

I got the code from Ebay. 12 months sub which i actived at the end of march and have the email from Spotify confirming 12 months sub.

would that make the invoice dissapear from my account too then if it was a dodgy code so to speak? And wouldnt i have had some form of correspondance from Spotify saying it would be cancelled?

Well i emailed them last night and also tweeted them but still waiting for a reply. I would like to get this sorted so if there is a problem with the code i purchased then i can contact ebay to see if i can get my cash back. Thanks
I talked around here and discovered that my gift cards were bought through a third-party. So now, I'm going to sue them and get my money back. I seriously never expected that to end in court. 😕
But I leave here the suggestion to spotify bring the gift cards to Brazil too, because credit-card only sometimes sucks a lot. I'll be out of the service for a while... 2nd time in a row that I got my account banned and this time the support says it's under investigation (like I'm responsible for what a 3rd party does, anyway...).
And to everyone around who reads this, here's a tip: Gotta buy gift-cards on Brazil? Don't do that through SpotCards, a "third-part service". They call themselves "official 3rd party" but it's bullsh*t.
And thanks for all the help guys. At least I got my playlists through the PC app's cache. But my account (and 8 months of Premium) are surely gone for good.
