Anyway to find info on who accessed my account

Anyway to find info on who accessed my account

My account was accessed by someone, they deleted all my liked songs, playlists, and podcasts, and replaced them with others. The songs and playlists that they picked where done so cause their names and content, being things like threats, insults or just being about topics that i personally have trauma around. They didnt change my password or try to log me out, they really just wanted me to see what they had done. The big issue however is that it was very clearly targeted at me, the specific information they used to pick songs being things that you wouldnt know about me unless if you knew me irl.

I have changed my passwords and logged out of all devices, ive also gotten back all my playlists and liked songs, so my question isnt around that. I just would like to know if there is any way to get more information about who did this? I have requested my data from spotify, hoping to see if i can find any suspicious logins or something. I also talked to spotify support about the issue, but other than restoring my account to before they got to it they said they couldnt help much more.

With the targeted nature of this, and the fact that it was so personal it would of had to been related to someone ive trusted with personal information before has had me really struggling to calm down and feel safe since it happend. Ik its not something thats likely for anyone to really know the answer to but, if anyone has any ideas id be really appreciative for the help.

Hey @Thimbleface,

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, we (the Community) don't have any backstage access to accounts, payments and everything else associated with it, so there's no way for us to look into this, even if we really wanted to.

I recommend waiting on the requested data. If you have any additional questions after reviewing it, feel free to reach back out to Support.

Also, if you believe that it was a personal attack against you and you feel threatened in any way, you might consider reporting it to your local law enforcement agency, as they might be able to request some additional info.

I hope this clears things up 🙂
