Cache Username

Hello,

I have been using a new account recently, and today I logged out by mistake. I don't remember at all which email I've used for this account, and so I am unable to log in.

I tried several different emails, but I simply can't find it.

I saw a post on Spotify troubleshooting guidelines, saying you could find your username in your Android files. This is the article I saw - https://support.spotify.com/us/using_spotify/troubleshooting/finding-usernames-from-cache/

I did that, but I got a very big username with letters and numbers. I don't know how to use this to retrieve my account. Can someone help me with this?

Usernames are usually alphanumeric, so most likely that's your username. It might be different than your display name. You can find more on that in this Support Article. 

If it comes to login in, you should be able to use your username instead of email address to do so. 

If you go to your account overview, you can check the email associated with your Spotify account there. 

You can also use the password reset form: 

Enter any email addresses you use into the password reset form. If there's an account associated with it, Spotify will let you know. You can continue to reset the account’s password, then use that email address and the new password to log in.

Tip: Check your email inboxes (including junk/spam folders) for emails from Spotify. If you have any, it’s likely there’s an account associated with that email address.
