I'm on the verge of a complete mental breakdown. I've had spotify premium for about 5 or so years and over a year ago, I merged my account with my parent's family account (yes, I do reside at the same address as them).
Last night I was listening to music when suddenly, the music stopped and spotify went to the login screen. Everytime I would log in, it would take me back to spotify for a few seconds then send me right back to the login screen. After this persisted for sometime, it point blank refused to log me in, saying the password and email were an incorrect match. I have tried logging in with both my email and username. I checked it out on my mac and it did the same thing and came up with error code 3.
I should mention that everytime I have tried to reset my password, there was no email in any of my email accounts. I don't believe that my account being merged into the family account could have affected ths email associated with my account because since I merged it, I have actually received emails from spotify regarding password resets for that account. When I put in my username for the reset password, it tells me an email has been sent... despite the fact it hasn't.
I should also mention that, to test whether or not my email was still associated with my premium account, I used it to set up another account... and for some reason it let me? It didn't say 'this email address is already in use' or anything like that.
I have tried reinstalling it, fresh reinstalling it, restarting my phone and even resetting my phone but nothing is working and it's driving me absolutely mad.
