Any user can change their country settings (without paying). We outline the steps for Free and Premium users here: "How can I change my country settings?"
If this doesn't work, support can do this for you:
You can contact support by filling this online contact form: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-anonymous/
If you receive an automated email directing you to the community and/or help boards, make sure you reply directly to that email (even if it says it is no-reply) and an agent will get back to you as soon as possible.
I am having a similar issue. I moved from France to Germany but the country box in my profile is disabled. There is a help page to how to change country which says I should be able to change but since the box is disabled that suggestion is useless. Please help!
I tried doing that, but when I go to edit profile nothing shows up....
Hey! Free users have to change the country settings within the first 14 days of being in the new country (Can only be done if Spotify is available in your new location). After the 14 days are up, the account is "Locked" and can only be updated by purchasing Premium with a local payment method.
Premium subscribers don't need to change the country settings unless the current payment method expires, Premium can be taken anywhere without restrictions.
I hope this helps!
Have a great day 🙂
@Almacare: is that 14 days from leaving a Spotify enable country or 14 days from arriving in a Spotify enabled country? I'm asking because at the time of writing this I have 6 days since arriving to new Spotify enabled country but it's possible to have about 14 days overall since leaving previous spotify-enabled country.
Hey guys,
If you followed the help guide and you still aren't able to change the country then use the contact form that Erick linked to in his post.

Hey! The 14 days start as soon as Spotify detects an IP address from a different country than where the account was created.
This happened to me at work, I'm from Colombia and I work for an American BPO so the IP at work is American. I only use my Free Spotify while working and after 14 days it locked me out.
I just had to log from my phone and my local Colombian IP and sure ennough the 14 days resetted immediately so I could use it again from my work PC.
Cheers!
