Unable to change country

Unable to change country

I have posted in this forum a few weeks ago, and no one managed to reply or assist in this common problem many users are encountering.

 

I would like to change my country to the United Kingdom in my profile/account. However, that option is greyed out.

 

I have received the same automated/template or reply referring me to the instructions on how to change my country. However, it's the exact same reply I keep receiving. And to come to this forum. I find it frustrating and lazy on Spotify's part when they can't be bothered to rectify this solution many users are experiencing, and they don't seem to be coming onto the forums to assist us. 

 

I hope someone can flag my case.

Exactly my case! I can't pay for my subscription because I need to change my countery from CZ do DE. Doesn't work from neither Czech IP or German IP! (No I am not using proxy, I had my friend in czech to try it). I can't pay via pay-safe, I can't pay via Paypal. COME SPOTIFY YOU ARE 150 MILION IN MINUS WHEN IT COMES TO REVENUES, GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER!

Are these facebook (email) Spotify accounts or username logins?

Could you post a screenshot of the page?

What country does this page take your IP to be from?

Hi Anthony, 

 

Thanks for providing assistance. 

 

1. It's a username login, and it's no longer linked to a Facebook account/email (I've discconected Spotify from Facebook awhile back).

 

2. Attached is a greyed out screencap of the country I'm locked to. 

 

3. The IP shows I'm in the Netherlands, which is odd. I'm in the UK.

Hey, I managed to change my country but I had to log (from some reason) from my tablet which has internet connection proxied to england and then it was working...
