I live and work in Canada, but my corporate/work IP address is in the US

My problem is exactly what the subject says.

I live and work in Canada but my employer's head-office is in the US and all of our web traffic is routed there. A lookup on http://www.whereisip.net shows me in the US.

I signed up for Spotify at work so my country is set to the US. I can't listen to Spotify at home. How do I get around this?

This happens as free users can use Spotify abroad of registered county only for 14 days. So, solution for you is to become premium or spotify staff can change country for you. You will be able to listen spotify at home.

That's not really a solution though.

I want to listen at both home and at work. Seeing as how both locations are well within the same country there should be no problem there.

That's still not a relevant piece of documentation. I'm not using Spotify abroad. 

I'll just delete my account because either way, it seems the solution is "pay us money" and I refuse to pay a subscription to a service simply to remedy its shortcomings.

As your home ip address is Canadian and at work you use ip from other country Spotify thinks that you are abroad.
