Can't log in.. says my email/username isn't on file??

I have had Spotify since last December. It is signed in on my phone, with my username. Ive been paying for premium and using it as such. But when I try to log in on my computer, it tells me that username or password is incorrect. Ok fine.. so i try to reset my password and it says The email address you provided is not associated with an active Spotify account... so how can I be logged in on my phone and paying for premium if I dont have an account??? And how do I access my account so I can listen on my computer (a feature my premium subscription is paying for???)

I created a new account in order to post the question because apparently I cant ask how to login without first logging in...
