Can't log in with a Marantz SR6007 receiver?

I'm trying to log in to the service using a Marantz SR6007 stereo receiver. I can't get the user name and password to work on the receiver. My wife had used facebook to sign up for the service. Does that make a difference? We want to be able to use Spotify on our receiver. Please help.

Having a horrible experience with the service - way to confusing to use and log in to multiple devices. I think we have all our IOS devices set up, just need to do the receiver and we can't get it to work.
