Cancel account and get refund

Cancel account and get refund

Hi, my premium has just renewed yesterday and I'm wanting to delete my account to make a new one so I can get rid of my facebook profile. I've canceled my subscription but is there anyway I can get a refund for this month so I can immediately rectify this? I don't really want to have to wait a month to carry this out.

Spotify Support can transfer all your stuff over to a new account. Just contact them through one of the channels:

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 48 hours.

Hi @maximapple, thanks for your response! I've used the contact form but still am yet to hear anything which is super frustrating! I wish they had a contact number.

The Spotify Support team usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

 

    • Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.
    • If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the Community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.
    • If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check what your accounts email address is here.

What is the point of having Spotify if they don't have all the latest... like beyonce lemonade??? Pay for premium for what? I want my money back

If you think that you're eligible for a refund, please get in touch with Spotify via the contact form or one of the social media channels. Their support team will be able to take a look at your issue and you'll hear from them shortly.
