Cannot Reset Password - Spotify REFUSE TO HELP AND ARE INSECURE

I singed up for a $9.99 3 month Premium Deal. I have forgotten my password.

The Spotuify passowrd rest service does not work: either requesting via my email address or username - no email reset is being received to my email account. I have cheked all the spam filtering and requested this rest multiple times.

Spotfity support will not help UNELSS I SEND PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION UNSECURED VIA EMAL.

They want:

My Date of Birth

My Postal Code
Copy of bank statement showing I paid $9.99

The last three digits of my Credit Card 

This information can, they claim, only be sent over email. Email is by definition UNSECURED since it travels of PUBLIC networks UNENCRYPTED.

Spotifty refuse to help. They seem content to take our money and expose us to excessive RISK of third parties reading our personally identifiable information. 

This is probably in breech of their banking and insurance requirements.

Why wont spotify provide a secure HTTP web page for this sort of data?

Why wont Spotify have a telephone helpline for this?

Do they even care - by their acions we have to assume NOT.

SPOTIFY - GET YOUR PASSWORD REST SYSTEM WORKING AND // OR STOP ASKING USERS TO OPEN THEMSELVS UP TO FRAUD.
