Cannot edit login method

My Question or Issue

My Current login is using Facebook, however I want to remove this so have tried to change my login method to email/password.

I can fill in the email, but after filling in the password and clicking submit it fails to submit and displays a something went wrong message.

Inspecting the request it is returning an 401 unauthorized.

Any help would be appreciated I can provide a cUrl request if needed.

No worries, to change your log in method, you just need to follow these specific steps. 

If those steps don't work for you, we suggest that you try again from a different device and using a different internet connection. 

If you've followed all the steps above and it still doesn't work, could you send us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

Are you also having issues removing Facebook as a login method? Have you given the steps above a try? It's also worth trying in an incognito/private window or with another browser, if you haven't already.
