Cannot log in to my account on my Android phone

My Question or Issue

Hey! I cannot log in on my Android phone using the Facebook connection or logging in with a password. Whenever I attempt to log in with Facebook, I gives a message that I cannot log in. Whenever I attempt to log in with my password I have to change my password and when I do I cannot log in either.

Please help 🙂

Did you use Facebook to create your account?

If you created your Spotify account with Facebook, I'd suggest to create a new account with a different email address from the one you use for Facebook. That will give you a Spotify username, so you won't have to rely on a Facebook account.

Once you have this new account, fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you migrate your Premium privileges (if you have them) to this new account.

If you like you can link this new account to your Facebook after the switch.

That unfortunately did not solve my problem. I tried setting up an account using an email address, but when I tried to log in it stated my phone is set to offline and I cannot log in.

Also, just as extra information: I can log in to spotify on my computer just fine. I only have the problem on my phone.
