Cannot set device password

Cannot set device password

Hi

I have tried to set my device password, but without success. Every time I click the link sent in an email i get

Something has gone wrong! But don't be sad.
You can try again a little bit later.

 

"

 

error and have no idea what to do with this. It appears on my android phone and linux pc.

I use login-by-facebook account if it matters. Any ideas or walkarounds? I need this to set up mopidy, my facebook pass does not work

Cause :  You created account with Facebook API,

Solution: contact Spotify Support via email.

 

Process:

They will release your email to create a new account via spotify.com

They will import everything from old account to new account and it will work.

You can use the actual Password you create without the need to create device passwords.

Spotify support could not move my premium sub. I have got it from my mobile operator as marketing offer. They say only Orange S.A. can do it, and Orange says that it's Spotify's job, so I am stuck here. It is really not funny
