Cant change Country or Region

Cant change Country or Region

Hello, I have recently moved to Hawaii from the Mainland United States 3 weeks ago. My Spotify monile app was working just fine until this morning before it told me to change my Country or Region, however when I go to do that in my profile, I cannot it only lists USA as an option.

Hello @FieryGraph! Thanks for reaching out.

 

Can you try this process using another browser or Incognito Mode? It might also be worth trying another device or a different internet connection. If you have a Premium subscription, you need to pay with a payment method that matches the country you're currently in. I'd also recommend checking out this Support article for more info.

Thank you for your answer however, that does not work, I have tried across 2 seperate devices, my Samsung phone and my Asus ROG Ally X, on 2 different browsers, Google Chrome and Brave, however it still does not help, I have even changed my billing address to be where I am living in Hawaii. But none of this stuff has worked, I am still unable to log into the Spotify app.

Thanks for your reply. This shouldn't be related to the region of your Spotify account, since Mainland and Hawaii are both inside the US territory so you don't have to update your country. I'd recommend you try having a clean reinstall of the app, make sure to download it from the official source for your device (Google Play).
