Circular password reset

Circular password reset

This all started because I got a Sonos Play:1 speaker and wanted to play Spotify. For some reason, Spotify wouldn't work. I learned that logging in using your Facebook credentials can keep you from playing music so I went to the Spotify FAQ and it suggested that you set a device password. But when I clicked on the link to do that, all I got was my profile. So I tried it in multiple browsers. That also didn't work

 

So I decided to try and reset my password. But the emails never get sent to me. I've tried multiple times. At this point, I don't understand what is going on. I just want to know my login info so I can get Spotify working on my Sonos Play:1. I don't understand why Spotify can't manage to send me a password reset email.
