Combine gift card with 3 months of Premium for just $0.99.

Hello! I just activated my gift card and wanted to use it in conjunction with the 3 months of Premium for just $0.99. When I went to registered for the latter, it said that I was ineligible because I'd entered my gift card first which made me a premium subscriber. Is it possible to take advantage of the special AND use my gift card?? Thank you!

Hey there @qnohoward, welcome to the community!

Since you used your Spotify gift card, you are now ineligible for holiday promotion. It is not possible to reverse this transaction. Also, Spotify gift cards aren't necessarily a "spending balance", they are a set amount of time of Premium. This is why you can't use them with discounts and/or offers.

This is a scam. I selected the $0.99 3 month trial option and there was an option to use a redeem code. If it is not eligible then why have it as a payment option?

I want my gift card refunded. If I do not get a refund then I will not be extending my subscription and I will be contacting consumer affairs.
