Difficulty Adding Family Member

Recently purchased a Premium family plan. I am the manager and sent an email invite to my wife, who lives in the same house, to join the family plan. She logged into her existing  free account and entered our home address just for Spotify to say she is not in the same country as the family plan owner. She even made a new account with the same error.

First off, we'd suggest to double-check the country settings on both your and your wife's account match.


Once you made sure that they do, it's best to create a new invite link by logging in to your Family page and send it to your wife again.


Before opening the invite, she should head to, click on Profile in the top right corner, and there click LOG OUT. After that, she should be able to accept the new invite by logging in again using the credentials for her own Spotify account (i.e., her email address and password).
