Discord Spotify Connection no longer works

I've had my spotify connected to discord ever since I discovered I was able to do it, but now all of a sudden it is no longer displaying what I'm listening to in my status. It used to work but now it doesn't. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting spotify but it doesn't do a thing, is it broken forever?

Thanks for reaching out to the community.

Let's make sure that you have the option to "Publish my activity on Spotify" on. You can find it under the Spotify Settings > Social.

Once it's on, try playing music again to check if it shows on your Discord.
