My Question or Issue

I have hit the 5 device limit for downloads in my account.  My Android phone recently had a major OS update that wiped all my data from  the device.  When I logged back into Spotify to redownload my songs for offline use, I got an error message that I've hit my limit.  I'm not trying to add a new device, it's the same "device" (OnePlus 7T).  The only thing I can think is that Spotify thinks I'm using two devices because of the differences in the OS.  I tried going to the settings to view Devices, but there is no option to see and forget past devices.  I've tried "logging out everywhere" option but that didn't work.  Is there a way for me to see all devices that have used and/or downloaded songs for offline use so that I can remove them?

Hey there!

When you used sign out everywhere, how long did you wait for it to take effect? You used the one on your account page, right? I recommend hitting the button again for good measure.

If signing out everywhere doesn't work, you could see if your "old" phone is listed in the Apps tab on your Account page.

If neither solution works, I recommend contacting Spotify directly.

Good luck! I know from experience that managing accounts after a phone reset is a big pain sometimes.
