Free trial in another country can’t open in Canada

My Question or Issue

hey! 

So when Spotify was first available in the USA I happened to be working there and got a free trial. Now that I can get Spotify in Canada it is blocking me from logging in as I am not in the states anymore and the trial is obviously finished. I can’t set up a new account as my e-mail is still the same. Help?

Right now it's only possible for Free accounts to use Spotify abroad for 14 days. You can learn more about this here. 

Try to use a VPN to sign in, close that account, reopen a new one with the same email but this time with location set to Canada.
