Grace period of a premium account

Solved!

Grace period of a premium account

Hi!

How much is the grace period for an account? I'm currently using premium for a while now, but yesterday was the payment day and unfortunately there was no money on my bank account. However I do not want to lose any content of my account, and I will able to transfer money to my bank account in a few hours.

So the question is, if I'm a day after the payment day, will Spotify charge my account the moment there will be money on it, like nothing happened? Or will my account be suspended and I have to start everything from the beginning?

Thanks in advance.

D.Z.

Hey @1188294505

Your account will not be suspended and you will not lose your music and playlists. Everything will be safe.

Spotify understands that payment issues happen. If the payment doesn't go through, the subscription might get cancelled, but you can always try subscribing again when you have money in your account.

Hello @1188294505, welcome to the Spotify Community!

If you have no money on your bank account at the payment day, don't worry, you won't lose music, your account won't be suspended, the only thing will happen is that you'll downgrade to free, this means losing your synced playlists, you can't listen to music on High Quality and you'll listen to ads.

You'll need to subscribe again and sync again the playlists you want to listen offline.
