I ''Lost'' my spotify user when i changed my Facebook password

Hi. I just changed my facebook password. Then i notieced that spotify logged me out on my mac and on my iphone. When i logged in again i came to the welcome screen as if i was a new member of spotify. all my playlists and everything is gone and I can even find myself in spotify.

I thought i just logg out of spotify and log in with my old spotify username, but i cant remember the password.. im kinda freaked out cuz im afraid i will loose all my playlists..

Could you try logging out then back in using your facebook registered email address and the new facebook password?

Yes that work. I finally could log into my ''old'' spotify account now with my spotify yousername, not with facebook. But now my name what my spotify accout is ''themeltedsnowman'' not Herman.. 

i also tried linking my account to facebook in the Prefences in spotify but it didnt to anything

Hey Herbie, it seems you actually have two accounts, one created via Facebook and one with the username themeltedsnowman (which has your 30-day trial on).

Our support team can delete that Facebook-created account so you'll then be able to connect your Facebook profile to themeltedsnowman. Just get in touch here and someone'll get back to you as soon as they can. If you get an automated response, reply back to it directly.
