Login popup in windows app

Hi!

I am rather new to Spotify and I am loving it.... BUT, there is one thing that's anoying! Whenever I am using the windows app an authentication windows will pop up asking me if i have an account or i want to create one new. If i say i have an account, it ask me for username and password. As i have loged in with facebook i dont have a spotify "password" i tried everything in that windows and nothing authenticates me, If i close it, spotify continues running. If i say i dont have an account, the app stops playing and closses.

Any tips?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

I would suggest you get in touch with the Spotify support team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you further with this. Normally this happens when your account has become disconnected from Facebook somehow on Spotify's side (or if you have an old username style account you don't remember!). 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
