Logining into spotify on the Playstation using Facebook

I use facebook to log in and on the playstation it doesn't give that option. From my understanding the only way to log in using facebook on the playstation is by using the first log in method of using a device. Unfortunately I don't use Spotify on my device since I have yet to upgrade to premium and when I tryed to download it on my Ipod it said It wouldn't, so now I'm stuck here wanting to test out the new Playstation Spotify thing, but I can't because the log in isn't working. Does any one know how to log in by using facebook? According to Spotify my username might be 1218483856, but I'm not actually sure 😕 Any help is much appreciated, thank you in advance 🙂

If you created your Spotify account through Facebook, you’ll need to log in to your mobile Spotify app and broadcast to your PS4™ or your PS3™ console through Spotify Connect. On your console, you will then be prompted to link accounts.

I have been struggling with the same problem for a while now, finally found a way to link the accounts without using the Spotify connect.

If you go on to your PS4 and then to your settings, click 'account management'. From this press 'link to other services' and you'll be able to connect your Spotify by signing into Facebook.
