May 2018 Update FAIL

The new mobile update was a total fail. All the things that I enjoyed about Spotify are now gone.

• Paragraph about the artist's story

• See similar artists icon page

• Follow an artist/other users buttons

• See what other user's have recently listened to

• View your followers or those you follow

• The browse genre and radio stations

I am not sure who got ahold of the strategy behind the redesign, but the new format just made this a Dead App to me.

Also, I am sure the marketing department loved the idea of a whole tab being used to advertise the "Premium" service, however it does not benefit me as a user and the constant reminder doesn't make me want to buy the subscription any more than it did before. Maybe if I got special content, heard about music news first or got to listen to unreleased new songs first, now these would be reasons to get it.

Most apps are "social" for a reason, but this new update has gone back in time and is just a shell of it's former self. Like I said, there really is no point in using this app over YouTube or Pandora now. PEACE Spotify.

They are horrible!!! Friend feed hasnt been working for months and they dont even care about complaints...emails...votes...No one is updating PAYING users on the status or anything at all!!!! I know some of my friends are no longer paying for this app...every time they come up with an update, it ruins things and fearures stop working for months! WORST SUPPORT TEAM AND COMMUNICATION PEOPLE!!

Wow, good to know! I just have been using the Free service, I can imagine how frustrating it would be for paying users.
