I received a notification that my subscription runs out in 2 days - I have it for years and it never run out? I can't extend it in my profile - any advice?

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!
Since you're getting a notification that your plan will end soon, you probably had a gift card redeemed and your previous subscription cancelled. Now that the Premium time from the gift card is almost over, you're getting notified so that you have some time to resubscribe again. You can check your current subscription and resubscribe under Manage your subscription on your account page.
To be on the safe side from now on, you can subscribe again as mentioned above and select a recurring payment method, so that your plan gets automatically renewed every month.

Thanks for your reply! No, I don't have a gift card or anything, but a regular subscription since years. I can't change anything in my account, it only shows my regular next payment date, that's why I don't know what to do.....

Sorry for insisting on this one, but since this is the most probable reason for the notification, can you check your order history to make sure you haven't redeemed a gift card at some point in the past? If that's the case, then this would explain the message you're seeing and in case you're not seeing an option to resubscribe, no further action on your part will be needed.

Thanks for your reply. No gift card or anything in my order history and I don't see the option to resubscribe. All I see is that the next payment is scheduled for today. So I assume, I don't have to do anything....

If you can see your next billing date, instead of the date when your subscription would end, most likely your recurring payment method is already registered, so you don't need to worry. Remember that you can always check and manage your subscription from the link @Dessi sent previously and if you see the pop up message again, make sure to send us a screenshot of it so we can take a closer look.
