Password box missing from cancellation page...

Password box missing from cancellation page...

My premium subscription is paused, I want to cancel it completely and use the free version of spotify. However when I carry out the cancellation process I end up at the final page (why they can't just make it one simple step I don't know) where the text is asking me to confirm my cancellation with my password.

There is NO box available on the page in where to enter my password (see attached file).

I've tried:
- three different browsers

- Cleared my caches

- Made sure all ad-blocking is disabled

- Tried PC and Mac and Ipad

The ineptitude of the Spotify web engineers seems to be legendary. Either that or the idea is to dissuade users from cancelling their subs. Is it any wonder that Apple Music is becoming so popular? At least they are capable of running a decent operation.

Spotify, sort your html out...

Hey there @Liofa

Unfortunately, this is a strange thing that tends to happen, but there is a solution! 🙂

Just try again but this time, use an incognito window.

You can use this guide to assist you in using an incognito window 🙂

Does this solve the problem?

Unfortunately that didn't work either...

@Liofa

Okay, thank you for trying that 🙂

I will send this to Spotify staff and get back to you ASAP! 🙂

They've changed the process slightly. Now they just ask you if you want to cancel, rather than asking questions.

However, you press Cancel and it still takes you to the "OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG PAGE".

With this not working I can't use the Spotify app on PC at all, it just puts an overlay on the screen which says my Premium account has expired and to go through the process I've described. Which doesn't work.

So it's still broken. Thanks for your help anyway.
