My Question or Issue

When I changed my payment method (from credit card to Google Play), Spotify changed my plan from family to individual. Now I can't go back to family plan on the same price I used to pay.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Spotify usually won't change your plan unless you ask them to by switching/upgrading plans. 

 

If you'd like to use a different payment method to pay for Premium Family, you can cancel your subscription through your Account Overview page.

 

Alternatively, you can also go through the Spotify mobile app > Settings > Account > Premium Plan > See available plans if you'd like to continue using Google Play as your payment method.

 

It's certainly possible that the prices are a bit different when paying through Google Play, so you could also check the price directly https://spotify.com/family which shows the price when using a regular payment method.
