Premium account not working on iPad

Premium account not working on iPad

Hi I've been using spotify on iPhone for a year, no probs, but I login with an iPad and keep getting ads and can't see my iPhone playlists.
Do I have to logout of the iPhone each time I use the iPad?

There maybe a possibility that I have 2 accounts as I haven't logged into the iPhone for a year as I just kept it active when first set up back then and kept it as is.
In order to confirm this I would have to logout of the iPhone but I don't want to in case I forgot my username, then I would have no way of knowing how to reset pswd as I can't remember which email the premium was registered with and wether I still have access to it, if it is indeed different to what I'm using on the iPad.

I do get monthly notifications of paypal payment to spotify, will this be enough to authenticate me to spotify staff?

Thanks
Bert

Hi @cbsports

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Spotify Community! I hope you enjoy your time here, :).

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue; but you may be possibly logging into a different account on the iPad. I can personally attest to this because I have both my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro logged into Spotify concurrently. The only issue I'll sometimes experience is when music stops playing on one them because I started listening on one of the other devices.

If you'd like, you can get in touch with the customer service team directly using the online contact form and they might be able to help you out! They'll ask you bits and pieces of information to authenticate you as the original owner of the account you're asking about.

If at any point you get an automated response directing you to the community or help pages, you will need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Alternatively, if you prefer support via Twitter, you can tweet @SpotifyCares.

Let me know if this has helped you in any way, :).

Spotify on!
