Problem after changing Facebook settings: Spotify does not see my account any more... HELP

Hey,

 

i was just changing some of my "Security Settings" on Facebook and afterwards its a big mess up here...

 

When i log in on the Spotify Homepage, it says that i am a FREE User. But i am a Premium member for month...

 

When i lock in on my Spotify App on my Macbook its the same... 

 

What can i do???

 

Totally mad about it because of my playlists... 😞

 

Any ideas?

@user-removed - When you got in touch with support you will most likely have received an automated email reply directing you to the community or help pages. If you could reply directly to that email (even if it's from no-reply) that will make sure your case reaches an adviser.

I just recognized that i have also a new "User" number (compared to the first one i got when i first regestered)...

So it seems that there is a mapping issue between my Facebook Account and the Spotify User?

It sometimes happens if you change your settings or remove the Spotify app from your Facebook the link between your Spotify account and your Facebook account (which you use to login) becomes disconnected, meaning Spotify see's no account when you login - hence creates a new ID.

The support team should be able to patch it back together for you.

I really hope so...

 

Spend so many hours on creating playlist...

 

Actually i don´t get it...

 

I thougt my email address or my Facebook account is my user... 

 

Whatever. I hope they can fix it...

Do you have some advice for me? Is there something i could do from my site?

It seems that Spotify Account is verly limited with setting.

 

I was thinkin of just "hitting the button" for getting Premium Account (even i got it already)

just to put in my information hoping the system will regonize me again...

But on the other side i am totally afraid of "loosing" my old account...

 

Is there a phone number for support???

Spotify don't have telephone support I'm afraid. I would just wait for support to get back to you via email - do not set up another subscription because you will end up being billed twice.

I just read a bit in the internet. I think its not that difficult to solve, but i am defintiely not able to to.

 

It has to be the support...

 

darn. 

 

A bit dissapointing. I mean i just changed some profile information on Facebook. 

I did not even think about such a impact on Spotify. Defintley one thing to mention...

 

Is there chat with some "Spotify guys"?

Ok.  A quick update..

 

Your account has created a duplicate account of itself and this is preventing you from logging in.  The fix is as follows:

 

1) You log out of the Spotify application and then reply to the email that I will send you

2) I remove the duplicate and send you a reset link

3) You create a temporary password and then go to www.spotify.com/account/overview

4) You select the option to link to Facebook

5) You login to your account 🙂
