Problems with logging in.

Hi,
I know this issue has been going around for some time and there has been many solutions to overcome this, however for me none of them seemed to work. Not only this but each time I try to reset my password, it doesn't send me an email. I will also mention this I have reset my password once and I wrote it down on a notebook, in short I remember my password entirely and I know for sure that the password I put in while logging in is correct. 
Still however, it doesn't let me log in. This applies for both mobile and windows. For this exact reason I created another account, Everything works fine on it. I tested the password reset on this account with email and it worked perfectly. But still. I had my old Spotify account for a while and it had lots of playlists including custom ones which I can not find again.. So I really wish to recover my account if possible. Are there any solutions?

Our tech teams have found out what was causing this and it should now be fixed. Can you let us know if you're able to log-in again?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!

 

What error message do you get when trying to access your account? Is it that the login details are incorrect, or something else? A screenshot of the exact message would be greatly appreciated - just make sure any personal info is covered up and not visible.

I have the same exact issue. Every time I try to log in to my account it just won't let me. I am signed into my app, which tells me that I have the username and email correct but I still don't receive any emails when I try to reset it. And I know that my info is correct too, because I have it auto-fill from Google. I try to use facebook to sign in, but it just says "You do not have a Spotify account connected to your Facebook account. If you have a Spotify account, please log in with your Spotify credentials. If you do not have a Spotify account, Sign in." When I know I have it connected. It also says That my username or password are wrong when I sign in.

Thanks for your reply here and welcome.

 

Since you mentioned you didn't receive the password reset email and you already checked that's the one, we'd suggest you check the junk/spam folder from your email to see if you found it there. If that doesn't do the trick, we suggest you delete some of your oldest emails so you can make sure this is not happening due to storage inconveniences.


If this behavior persists after you've tried the above, we'd suggest you type your email rather than use the autofilling option. We'd suggest you try and reset the password on a different device than the one you've been using.


From the error you received when trying to log in with Facebook, it's possible the email you're putting in is not the one linked to your Facebook. In that case, we'd suggest you enter any possible email addresses you own to check if it's possible you have more than one account.

I keep on getting the same incorrect username or password. I've sent many password reset requests but none of them appear in my email.. I've deleted my old emails and sent the password request again but it does not seem to have improved my situation..

I've tried all of these solutions of yours, but none of them are working still. ā˜¹ļø

I have just had the same problem and have a family account. Have you had a resolution?

im getting this problem, i am logging my spotify account but its showing that your password is incorrect but its correct. also i changed the password but its showing me same thing im getting **bleep** i cant give up on this account tell me what to do

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble accessing your account.

 

Can you let us know if this is happening on all your devices or only on one of them? It's a good idea to give the app a clean reinstall, by following this Spotify guide. This can be caused by corrupted cache on the device, which should be cleared by the reinstallation.

Hi, I have a problem. I had Spotify for 3/4 years and I bought Spotify Premium Family. Everything was okey till yesterday when I opened app and I need to log in. So I put in my email and password the same as for 4 years and then I got information that my email and password are incorrect. so I tried many times to log in but without any results. Also I tried to change my password and its also didn't worked. Problem is my address email is very old and I haven't check it for a long time so when I try open my email is not availabe but I haven't got problem with this since yesterday. What can I do to log in on my account? I

Sorry to see you've been having issues with your login.
To figure this out, let's first go over what @Alex has asked above:

"Can you let us know if this is happening on all your devices or only on one of them?

Keep in mind that if this is an app-specific issue and you can still access your account via a web browser, you can also try changing your email address by following the link here.
