Signing up for new account

I recently made a new account as a student, and I want to delete my old account, but will the music delete from my new account also? I followed my old account on my new one and downloaded each playlist. I just want to make sure they won't dissappear if I delete the old account.

A fast and easy way to test this to be sure would be to:

1. On your old account, delete a song or two that you for sure have downloaded to your new account.

2. Check your new account to see if those particular songs are available in your playlist.

That is a wonderful idea... but the problem is I have been logged out of that account and it has taken me hours just to figure out what to do this far. I wish I had another way to test it.
