Someone else is using my spotify account at the same time as me.

Solved!

Someone else is using my spotify account at the same time as me.

This is annoying.

I let someone else use my spotify account once. Now this person is permanently logged in through his own facebook account...at least this is how I think it works,

His name and facebook picture shows up at the top of the right corner of the screen whenever I log into my account and it looks like he is using it because more than two third of everything that is starred has been starred by him. It makes it difficult for me to find the music that I've starred my self.

I have right clicked on his name to try to log him out, but all that happens is that I'm logged out and when I log in again he's still there. I've also tried to change my password to no use. So how do I get this person out of my spotify account? I have'nt found any other options than what I've already tried.

Hi!

I got just the same problem that this subject is all about. I have tried to change my password a couple of times as well, could you please kick that other person of my account aswell?

Thank you for your time!

Sure thing--all done.

can you please kick all other users off my account please? 🙂

Hi castlea - Glad to have you on the Community.

I confirm no one's currently signed into your account. Have you done a password reset lately? https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/

Hi,

Other people have been using my account for a while now, and after changing my password, both on Facebook and Spotify, I've noticed they are still using my account. Could I please have all sessions on my Spotify account signed out? And is there a way that I can do this myself in the future if this becomes an issue again?

Thank you,

David

Hi DavidSights - I've just checked and no one's currently logged into your account.

I recommend giving that password reset another go and perhaps change your personal email password too. If you keep having trouble please let me know.

can you dissconect all users on mine to? got this problem first today..

i have let my friends put my spotify account on their mobile devices to use when i am with them but they have taken advantage of it and now i cant listen to music without being interrupted by them listening too. can you log out all of my accounts and they wont be able to get in again because i have changed the password?

Hey xive - Right now no one is logged into your account either. I'd do a quick reset right here just be safe: https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/

I'm sure this is an age old question but my account appears to be in use on multiple computers when really I only want it on my mobile and my home computer.

I've changed my password, but would it be possible to force any other users to log back in?

It would be really handy to be able to manage authorised systems through my account online....

Thanks!

Sam

Hi drewpie - Welcome to the Community! I've just moved your post over to this more relevant thread 🙂

I've also removed all users for you. Let me know if you keep having any trouble.

Hi Meredith,

Thanks for having me 😉

That's great - thanks very much for sorting this out.

Do you know of any plans to develop a means of managing active computers/mobile devices through our online account? Is this something that many people have asked for?

The reason I ask is because I'm forever leaving my account logged in to people's computers at parties, etc and would love to be able to save hassle and log them out the next day.

Failing that, some kind of option on log in that will automatically log the account out after a set period of time.... ?

I know that I should just remember to log it out when I leave, but beer has a habit of affecting one's memory...!

Thanks again.

drewpie - as far as I'm aware this isn't in the works at the moemnt, but it's certainly something I'd like to see myself.

I'd suggest giving this thread in our Ideas Board a vote - http://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Ideas/Log-out-all-devices/idi-p/23913

That's been marked as implemented (since we can do it for you) but if you say that you'd rather see this available to users themselves, we'll certainly take note of it!

Hey @crazyman104 - I've just moved your post over to this more relevant thread.

At the moment no one is logged into your account. Just do a quick password reset and you should be good to go.

Xive - Online or offline? Your account it being used now, want me to disconnect all devices using it?

Hi could you disconnect all devices from my account?

I'm having the same problem as everyone else here. Can you please disconnect all spotify users under my account please? 🙂

Yes. Done. Has that sorted it?

Epicmads - Doesn't appear to be anyone logged in. Have you tried changing password?
