Spotify Education Discount

I have a free trial right now, but it's going to expire today. I decided to continue with Spotify Premium, but I was hoping to use the student discount. However, whenever I click on the "get premium" link on the student discount site, it just goes to my account details, and there's no where where I can input my university name or anything like that. Any help?

Have you unsubscribed from your current subscription first?

This is happening to me too. I just now cancelled my .99 Subscription to use the student discount and continue using Premium. However, like the above user, every time I click on "Get Premium" on the student dicsount page, I get sent to "My Account", and there is no way to get that promotion through that link!

I am not getting this problem.

The "Get Premium" button should take you to this link:

https://www.spotify.com/student/verify/

If it is still redirecting to your account page, it might be an issue with an individual language page. For me, the link will resolve to the US version. Is your account set to a location other than the United States?

I'm having this problem too. my country is set to USA but when i click on the link you posted it takes me straight to account overview

Try reaching out to Spotify support. The might be able to help you get your subscription set up if the page is not working for you. They usually respond in 24-28 hours.

Sorry for the trouble! There is currently a glitch with the student discount page for some people. The website team is still trying to fix it.
