Spotify account unable to log in while travelling

Spotify account unable to log in while travelling

I have my Family Premium account.

I just travelled to South Korea for 2month trip, and I cannot login to my account as soon as arrived on airport.

Hey @Warthog116, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Please make sure that you don’t have any VPNs enabled. Also, can you a clean reinstall of the app following these steps? Once you do that, try to login again and let me know how that goes. If you’re still having trouble, send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing so I can take a look. Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community.

That didn't worked out for me. It keep shows me 'something went wrong' and never let me log in.

Thanks for your patience. Could you make sure you haven't received any verification emails from Spotify? It's a good idea to check your spam/ junk folders as well. 

Since you’re abroad in a different country, keep in mind users who don't manage to verify on time get reverted to the free tier. The reason I'm thinking in this direction is that what you're describing seems identical to the behaviour of a free account that is abroad for periods longer than 14 days. While on free, users will get an error message and will have to change their country settings to the country they are currently in. You can change those by following these steps.
