Spotify friends activity empty/not updating

My Question or Issue

For several months (pretty much years at this point), my Spotify friends feed has not been updating, it only shows 1 friend I have, while it should have a dozen others. This has been going on for far too long for it to be a problem on my end as I have changed my devices, settings, and other things to try and fix it. I have reinstalled Spotify and my OS but nothing helps. I also see no friends through my Facebook integration even after disconnecting and reconnecting my Facebook profile multiple times. All my settings are the same as my friends and he can see his friend activity but I can't. I already posted about this problem once, and was told it would fix itself but that was months ago. This is very infuriating as it has been going for so long.

I have tried several times and done alle the things suggested, but I still can't access my facebook friends

I've checked my settings, but it won't show me what my friends are listening. I've checked 'share activities' and 'see what your friends are listening' (freely translated, I'm from Germany)

I have tried all options offered and found online (as far as I could see) and even after deleting/signing out+in, I cannot see my friends' activity. I cannot see them on the facebook list either.

For me it's my friend can see what I'm listening too but for some reason I cant see theirs

Will my friends activity show if I’m connected to Facebook? Like do I have to be friends with the people on Spotify for their activity to show?

Firstly, that you have read this Solution and all the steps mentioned are TRUE for you BOTH. 

If so, please confirm the following: 

• @Papusvagyok you can't see @gabeebaros in your Friend Feed?
• @Papusvagyok can you see anyone in your Friend Feed?
• @Papusvagyok you are FOLLOWING @gabeebaros

@gabeebaros as per the Solution:

• You have "Share my listening activity on Spotify" toggled on.
• You have played more than 30 seconds of a track on iOS, Android or Desktop in the last 7 days.
• This wasn't a Private Session.

Once you confirm, we will look up your accounts and see what's happening. Thanks!

Hello! I can confirm all three of your statements. I can't see gabeebaros in my Friend feed, I also can't see anyone else! I'm following gabeebaros!

Tried toggling Share my listening activity on Spotify OFF and then back to ON. Also read and followed the solution but it did not prove to be any help.

@Papusvagyok can you share a screenshot of your empty Friend Feed please. I followed both of you, and can see both of you in my Feed. We will continue checking the back end in the meantime.

I could follow you and see your activity now. That wiped all the blocked and anonymous friend entries from my Spotify account that I had sitting there uselessly for over three years. I added you via username search as I do not use facebook. Thank you.

Spotify is lacking any edit followers options.

Hi,

I have tried all the solutions proposed without any luck. I only see the activity of 5 friends that I had since very very long ago (would guess around 2015) and no matter what I do or who I follow their listening history doesn't show up for me. I have tried to change all settings and asked friends to do the same and I pop up on their feed after a bit of hassle. 

Can you please help? I would like to see and follow more than these 5 ancient Spotify friends to discuss and find new music.
