Spotify is only playing random jazz songs when I try to play an album or song

My Question or Issue

I'm experiencing the most bizarre bug with Spotify where it only plays jazz tunes, it's kind of hilarious. When I try to play a song or entire album (e.g. by clicking on the play button in the Spotify UI) maybe the first song plays, maybe not, but eventually Spotify will only play random jazz tunes from what I assume is some kind of jazz artist radio. It's like I'm stuck in some kind of inescapable jazz rabbit hole. I mean, I like jazz, but I also enjoy listening to other types of music too. It would be nice to be able to do that 🙂

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

This could be happening due to a number of factors. Please check the following:
- Make sure your Play Queue is cleared before playing music. You can clear it by clicking the Queue button > Clear queue. This option should be available on Desktop and Mobile.
- Make sure that Enhance is switched off. This button will appear on top of your playlist. If it's turned on (green) it will automatically add similar songs to your playlist.
- Make sure Shuffle and Smart Shuffle is turned off.
